Jayme Riner

Jayme Riner, 81 passed from this life at her home in Kerrville, TX on Tuesday, July 29, 2014.

Jayme was born March 19, 1933 in Kite, GA the daughter of Thurman and Ida Riner. She was employed as a Lab Tech for the USDA in Kerrville for over 20 years.

Jayme and Bennye Gilbert, her lifelong partner, were very active in local animal shelters. They both loved all animals, especially dogs. Jayme was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church, very involved with the Kerrville Salvation Army, the Wounded Warriors Project, Kerrville Disabled Veterans, the Battered and Abused Womens Shelter and the Children with Special Needs Program.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory is her special little dog, Daisy and several cousins. She was preceded in death by her loving partner, Bennye Gilbert.

Celebration of life services will be private.

The family suggests memorials to a charity of choice.
