Janette James

KERRVILLE Janette Frances James, 62 years, 4 months and 14 days young, of Kerrville, passed from this life at her home on January 10, 2010 following a long courageous battle with Lymphoma Cancer.

Born in San Antonio on August 27, 1947, she was the daughter of Erwin and Lillian Friesenhahn Albrecht.

Janette married her soul mate, Edwin A. James, II, on October 10, 1981 in San Antonio, TX. They were married for 28 years, 2 months and 29 days. Ed cherishes every moment of their time together. Janette enjoyed working side by side with him on their ranch, spending time with her family, as well as caring for her cows, plants and garden. She will be sorely missed by everyone who knew her.

Janette was predeceased by her parents.

Those left to honor and cherish Janettes memory are her devoted husband, Ed of Kerrville daughter Cheryl Lovett and her husband Tim, of Pipe Creek, TX, son Terry R. Acord and his wife Marcia, of Spring Branch, TX brothers Robert and William Albrecht sister, Mary Ann Maurice grandchildren, Amanda Chapman, Timmy, Laura and Grace Lovett, Anthony Ellison and Brandi Gurdle and great grandchildren Audrey Chapman, Abigail Ellison and Isabella Gurdle.

Janettes family plans to celebrate her life privately.

The family suggests that donations in Janettes name be made to Peterson Hospice, 1121 Broadway, Kerrville, TX 78028, who cared for Janette and her loved ones with such kindness. They also want to extend a very special thanks to friend and neighbor, Stephanie George, for her help with Janettes care during her illness.
