Houston Janet Howe quotNettiequot Dyke, 91, of Houston and formerly of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local health care facility on Tuesday morning, July 21, 2009.

Born in Fairmont, ND on August 29, 1917, she was the daughter of John and Jenny Russell Rabak. She had moved to Kerrville in 1981from the Panhandle TX area.

On February 11, 1935, she married Marshall Richard Dyke in Milbank, SD.

A faithful Christian, she was a member of the Sunrise Baptist Church of Kerrville.

Mrs. Dyke was predeceased by her husband, her parents, a sister, Lucile Kurtz and a brother, John Page Rabak.

Those left to cherish and honor her memory are her sons, Larry Warren Dyke of wood, TX and Marshall James quotJimmyquot Dyke of Houston, TX many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren a brother, James W. Rabak of Lubbock, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.

Open visitation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Sunday, July 26, 2009 from 9AM5PM.

A celebration of her life will be held at Sunrise Baptist Church, Kerrville on Monday morning, July 27, 2009 at 10:00AM. Committal services will follow at Garden of Memories.

Floral arrangements are acceptable or monetary donations may be made in her name to the charity of ones choice.
