Janet Campbell

Janet M. Campbell, age 77, passed away peacefully on August 17, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. She was born August 9, 1940 to Earl Everett and Anna Belle (Phillips) Tibby in Paxton, Illinois.

Janet was raised on a farm in Illinois and started school in a one room country school. After graduation, attending Bradley University and a short time working in an office she had the desire to travel and was hired by Capital Airlines as a hostess that later merged to become United Airlines. It was the perfect job for her, and it lasted for 40 years.

In Honolulu, she married LTC Charles (Chuck) B. Campbell. Together during their 31 years of marriage they continued to enjoy travelling. Jan was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville.

Janet was preceded in death by her husband, Charles and her parents.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are the families of her sister, Ruth Ann Wallace; stepchildren, Charles R., Linda James, and Gloria Morgan.

Visitation will be held 6-8:00 PM, Wednesday, August 23, 2017 at Kerrville Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM, Thursday, August 24, 2017 in the main chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway., Kerrville, TX 78028. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery.
