Jan Godden

Jan Godden, 53, of Fredericksburg, Texas entered into rest on February 25, 2007 at a local hospital.Mrs. Godden was born August 9, 1953 in Albuquerque, New Mexico to Guy Gus and Dorothy Dot Henson. She married Corey Godden on March 30, 1996 in Blanco, Texas under large and very beautiful Live Oak tree. They moved to the Hill Country in the year 2000 to be closer to family. She worked as an office manager in Kerrville at The Main. She was an avid fisherwoman and loved to take her family fishing. She volunteered as a foster family for the Diamond Dachshund Rescue. Her favorites were however her own babies and beloved dachshunds, Chloe, Friederick, and Napoleon. She cherished her time with her family by sharing meals and special times together and she kept them all close to her heart. They will miss her smile and her loving spirit.She is preceded in death by her parents.She is survived by her loving husband, Corey Godden six children, Sean Chynoweth of Washington, Jessica A. Godden of New York, Jeffery Chynoweth of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Peter Godden of San Francisco, California, Laura Godden of San Jose, California, and Jessica Chynoweth of Albuquerque, New Mexico sister, Joyce King of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma niece, Melissa and Fatherinlaw and Motherinlaw, Bill and Mary Godden numerous other relatives and extended family.Memorial services will be held 7:00 p.m., Thursday, March 1, 2007 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Celina Price officiating.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
