James Patterson, age 73 passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at his home in Ingram, TX.

Mr. Patterson was born November 18, 1942 in Houston, TX the son of John and Helen Patterson. He was a graduate of Lamar High School in Houston and was President of his class. Mr. Patterson graduated law school at the University of Texas and was the President of Kappa Sigma fraternity.

James started his professional career in Houston, working in the District Attorney's office for Harris, County. He practiced law in Houston and Kerrville for over 30 years and was a member of the State of Texas Bar Association.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his daughter, Lauren of Ft. Worth, TX, a sister, Patricia Talbott and husband, David of Sugarland, TX and many nieces and nephews.

Celebration of life services will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, April 1, 2016 at the First United Methodist Church in Kerrville with Reverend Phillip Hoeflinger officiating. The family will have a private interment.
