James Raymond McDaniel

James (Jim) Raymond McDaniel, 74, passed away in his home on March 1, 2023. He was born on January 18, 1949, in Odessa, TX, to his parents, Joe and Doris McDaniel. He is survived by his three sons, Michael, Richard, and Christopher and his daughter, Tara and their Spouses, as well as his many Grandchildren.  His sisters Oleta Bohling, Loretta Hinahosa, Dorris Doyle, Caroline Smith and their spouses.  He is preceded in death by his Wife Terry, Parents and Sisters, Jo Ellen Hicks, Melva Dunn and Cherry Thomas. 

James was a skilled machinist and worked for over 50 years for various companies ending his career as a Pipeline Welding Inspector.  He was known for his dedication to his job and as a hard worker who always took pride in his work.

James was loved by all who knew him and will be deeply missed. His family and friends will always remember him for his humor, his kindness and his willingness to help others.

Funeral services for James Raymond McDaniel, 74, of Kerrville TX who passed from this life on Wednesday, March 1, 2023 will be held at 2PM on Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Kerrville Funeral Home (830) 895-5111. Interment at Garden of Memories.

A visitation will be held from 5-7PM Friday, March 17, 2023 at Kerrville Funeral Home.
