HARPER James Frances Schueller Jenkins, 79, of Harper, Texas passed from this life on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at his residence. Jim was born on March 25, 1934 in Denver, Colorado to Frank J. Schueller and Marjorie Donetta Mustaine Schueller.

Jim was raised in Denver, Colorado until his teenage years when his family moved to Texas. After graduating from Tivy High School, he attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas as well as Southwest Texas University, San Marcos, Texas.

On August 28, 1954, he and Gladys Fay Taylor Turner were married at First United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas. He was employed with National Cash Register Company from 1958 until he retired in 1993. After his retirement, he and Gladys moved to Harper, Texas where he enjoyed the country life and community.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents grandmother, Lola Mustaine stepfather, John O. Jenkins and stepmother Virginia Schueller.

Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his wife, Gladys T. Jenkins daughters, Annette Jenkins McClure and husband Kenneth Donetta Jenkins Rich and husband Steven brother, Charles Schueller and wife Francie grandchildren, Andrea Sikes, Christopher Jenkins, James Sutton, Cole Andrew Sutton, Brett McClure and Mollye McClure great granddaughter Emily Jenkins, along with many loving family, friends and neighbors that will miss him dearly.

A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 PM, Friday, March 14, 2014 at Wild Ride Ministries, 23809 West Hwy 290, Harper, Texas 78631, with Rev. Mike Weaver officiating. A reception will follow the services at the Harper Library, Harper, Texas.

Those who desire to make memorial contributions in Jims honor may do so to the Harper Library P.O. Box 74, Harper, Texas 78631 or Hill Country Hospice, 1020 S. State Hwy 16, Fredericksburg, TX 78624.

The Family wishes to express their thanks and appreciation to
