Kerrville James Herbert Emberton, age 84,died at Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital in Kerrville, on June 10, 2006, after a courageous battle with cancer .He was born on February 22,1922 in Indianapolis, Indiana to James H .Emberton, Sr. and Iona Pearl Fitzgerald Emberton .He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Richard and Harold, and his son, David. He enlisted with the U.S. Marine Corp on the day after the Pearl Harbor attack and served two of his four years with the Marine Corp Raiders, in the South Pacific. He retired, after 37 years with the Ford Motor Company as an Experimental Technician with the Engineering Division in Dearborn Michigan. He is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Constance Marie Everett Emberton sisters, Sharon Brown and Betty Lou Conry of Michigan daughter, Elaine V. Endicott and husband Eugene of Harper, Texas son, James F. Emberton and wife Joan of OFallon Missouri and daughter, Kathy R. Schuerkamp and husband David of Washington, Missouri grandchildren, Teresa Cratty, Amy Holbrook, James G. Emberton, Patrick Emberton, Scott Emberton, Charles Giacopelli Meghan Giacopelli, Justin Giacopelli and Nicholas Giacopelli twelve great grandchildren many nieces and nephews and a multitude of good friends from all over the USA. A private family memorial service is planned for the near future. The family wishes for memorials in Jims name to Vista Care Hospice and or Sid Peterson Memorial Hospital. Many thanks for all the wonderful care that was given by the caregivers of these institutions. We cant thank you enough.
