James Butler

KERRVILLE -James "JW" Butler, 75, of Kerrville, TX passed from this life on January 19, 2016 at his residence in Kerrville.

JW was born November 5, 1940 in Borger, TX to Bill and Viola (Hutson) Butler. In 1960, he graduated from Borger High School. He then attended West Texas A&M where he earned his Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Business. JW worked for J.M. Huber Corp and retired after 34 years. He enjoyed substituting for the Agricultural Program in Borger ISD; he was a certified professional farrier (corrective horseshoer) for many years.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Viola Butler.

Those left to honor and cherish his memories include his wife of 51 years, Brenda Butler; son, Kelton Butler and sister, Jo Sanders.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, January 23, 2016 at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville, Texas 78028.Rev. Jake Topper will officiate .

In lieu of floral tributes, memorials may be made to the Jason Walford Memorial Foundation in Kerrville or the American Heart Assocation.
