Kerrville James G. Adair, 84, of Kerrville, passed from this life at his home on Sunday, January 24, 2010.
Born in Bynum, TX on November 22, 1925, he was the son of Austin Levi and Willie Mae Watson Adair.
James was a graduate of Bynum High School, Class of 1942, Hill County Junior College, and a graduate of the University of Texas.
He served in the US Army.
James was an Electrical Engineer and had worked for Phillips Petroleum from 19501985.
On December 15, 1956, in Pasadena, TX he married Sybil Isabel Pullen.
He enjoyed many things in life, including computing, bridge, anything electrical, the theater and travelling.
James is predeceased by his wife, his parents and a brother, Alton Leroy Adair.
Those left to honor and cherish his memories are his sons, David Adair of League City, TX, Robert Adair of Kerrville, TX, and Nick Adair and his wife Debbie, of Sugar Land, TX his grandsons, Michael Adair and Steven Adair, both of League City, TX and his three cats, Kate, Boots and Domino.
The family wishes to extend many thanks to Dr. Schlabach, Dr. Barrington, Peterson Regional Medical Center, Kerrville Cancer Center, and VistaCare Hospice for their loving care and support during James final illness.
There will be no visitation.
A celebration of his life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home Main Chapel, Kerrville on Saturday, February 6, 2010 at 1:00PM with Patty Edwards officiating.
