Kerrville ndash Jaen Heath Parker of Kerrville passed away Sunday morning, November 16, 2008 at her home at the age of 80.nbspJaen was born January 2, 1928 to Mr. amp Mrs. Woodson Heath in San Benito, TXnbspJaen attended Baylor University majoring in art.nbsp She was voted to be Ms. Baylor Stadium when the new stadium was dedicated.nbspShe was engaged to William C. Parker Sr. in 1948 and she transferred to SMU in Dallas.nbsp There she pledged Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority and was elected to Engineers Sweetheart in 1949.nbspShe and William were married in 1950.nbspJaen was an active participant in arts, jewelry, ceramics and interior decorating.nbspShe is predeceased by her parents, her brother, Dan, her sister and brotherinlaw, Ann Heath Robinson and Vernon Robinson.nbspJaen is survived by her former husband, William C. Parker, SR. of Kerrville a son, William C. Parker JR, of Dallas and her two daughters, Jeannie of Bandera and Patricia of Dallas.nbspPrivate family services will be held.nbspIn lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society.nbspThe family expresses their appreciation to the Peterson Hospice Staff for the loving care and support they provided Jaen and her family.nbspnbsp
