Jack Welch

Jack A. Welch, 80, of Lubbock, Texas entered into rest on January 25, 2007 at his residence surrounded by family.Mr. Welch was born March 17, 1926 in Center Point, Texas to Arthur and Lottie Harris Welch. He married Virginia Pyron on November 29, 1946 in San Antonio, Texas. His parents and his wife preceded him in death. Mr. Welch retired from the U.S. Navy in 1969. He proudly served his country during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam. Mr. Welch had been a resident of Lubbock for ten years he moved from his long time residence in Bandera, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.He is survived by his son, Ron Welch of Lubbock, Texas daughter, Karen Spicer and husband Bill of Lubbock, Texas grandchildren, Ron Worden of Maine, Sarah Spicer of Lubbock, Texas and Shawn Spicer of Lubbock, Texas and brother, George Welch and his wife Donna of San Diego, California.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2007 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel with Rev.
