KERRVILLE Jack Lee Forest, 82, of Brazoria, TX passed from this life in Kerrville, TX on Thursday, May 9, 2013. Jack was born on June 17, 1930 in Brazoria, TX to Dick Martin and Mary Clyde Rogers Forest. On September 1, 1950, he married Ruth May Fowler in Angleton, TX.
Jack Lee served in the U.S. Air Force from 1952 1956. He graduated from the University of Houston with a degree in Technical Engineering and was a retired employee of the State of Texas Department of Transportation. Although he had lived in Lake Jackson, TX for the past nine years, he had just recently moved to Kerrville to be near his family who were with him until he peacefully passed in his sleep on Thursday morning, May 9, 2013. Jack Lee was an active member of the First Presbyterian Church, where he served as an ordained elder for several years.
Jack Lee is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Ruth Fowler Forest parents, Dick and Mary Forest and brother, Bill Forest.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his daughter, Sandra Forest of San Felipe, TX sister, Julia Ann Kitchel of Kerrville, TX brotherinlaw, Kenneth Kitchel of Kerrville, TX, nieces, Merrilie Albrecht of Kerrville, TX and Cynthia Ketchell of Fitchburg, WI, along with many cousins of the Houston area and friends who will miss him dearly.
