Chichester, 84, of Kerrville passed from this life at his home on Tuesday morning, November 18, 2008.nbspBorn in Norwood, OH on October 18, 1924, he was the son of Richard G and Rose M. Zink Chichester.nbsp He had been a resident of Kerrville since 1992.nbspJack served in the US Air Force during WW II.nbsp After the service, he worked for an electronics company as a technician then he became a computer analyst.nbspHe had a zest for life and adventure as he and his wife were scuba divers and traveled around the world and to all 50 US States.nbspHe was predeceased by his parents and a brother and his first wife, Margaret.nbspIn memory of his father, Richard G. Chichester, Jack set up a scholarship in his name through ARRL, The American Radio Relay League given to a person every year that has an interest in HAM Radios.nbspFamily members include his wife of 48 yrs, Patricia A Chichester of Kerrville a sister, Dottie Mrs. Charles Fobbe 5 nieces 2 nephews and many great nieces and nephewsnbspThere is no visitation.nbspA Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 21, 2008 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Water St, Kerrville at 9:30AM.nbspIn lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations may be made in his name to the charity of onersquos choice.nbspnbsp
