Irene Hardy

Kerrville, Texas Irene Taylor Hardy, 64, of Ingram, Texas passed from this life on Saturday, May 19, 2007 at a local hospital. Mrs. Hardy was born August 26, 1942 in Kerrville, Texas to Leslie Thomas and Mattie Belle Morris Taylor. She had been a resident of the Ingram area most of her life, with the exception of 14 years in California where she started her family. She loved painting, gardening and floral design. One of her favorite pastimes was to cook and spend time with her grandchildren.Mrs. Hardy was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, greatgrandmother and sister. She was predeceased by her father, Leslie Thomas Taylor a grandson, Eric Hardy 4 brothers, Gerald Taylor, Buck Taylor, Ernest D. Taylor and Robert Taylor.Mrs. Hardy leaves her devoted husband, Billy L. Hardy of Ingram, TX her loving son, Billy Dean Hardy of Ingram, TX 2 loving daughters, Leia Zimbra of Woodland Park, CO and Linda A. Eisenhower of Ingram, TX 11 wonderful grandchildren and 7 greatgrandchildren, whom she loved each in a special way her devoted mother, Mattie McCullor of Ingram, TX, her loving sister, Helen M. Crider of Ingram, TX and her brother, R.B. Taylor of Oregon along with a host of nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors.ation will be held in the Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home from 6 8 PM, Tuesday, May 22, 2007. A Graveside Service will be held in Nichols Cemetery at 10 AM, Wednesday, May 23, 2007 with Pastor Mark Green officiating.In lieu of floral tributes, the family request that memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
