Howard Miller

Howard E. Miller, went to be with the Lord July 25, 2004 after a long illness. He was a resident of Kerrville, TX for the last 18 years and he was retired from the University of Iowa.He was born June 28, 1916 in Kalona, Iowa to Sylvanus and Martha Miller. He lived in Iowa most of his life and married Vesta Mae Gingerich on May 8, 1938 in Kalona, Iowa. Mr. Miller was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church in Kerrville, Texas.Mr. Miller is preceded in death by his parents, his wife and two brothers, John and Ray.He is survived by two sons, Ronald Miller of San Antonio, TX, and Larry L. Miller and wife Marcia of LaPorte, Colorado one daughter, Patricia Arnold and husband Michael of Kerrville, TX five grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and one greatgreat grandchild two brothers, Glenn of Stockton, Illinois, and Sylvanus Jr. and wife Eula Jean of Treyner, Iowa two sisters, Mrs. Edna Dan Kauffman and Mrs. Vida Yutzy of Hutchinson, Kansas.A memorial service will be held at 10:00AM, Saturday, July 31, 2004 at the Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Sherry Strain officiating. ation will be 57:00PM Thursday, July 29, 2004 at the Kerrville Funeral Home.
