Herminia Garces

Herminia D. Minnie Garces, 86, of Kerrville, Texas passed away peacefully on August 26, 2006 at a local care facility.Minnie was born October 4, 1919 in San Antonio, Texas. After a seven year relationship, she married Eliceo Garces on May 5, 1967 in San Antonio. She liked all kinds of flowers, plants and gardening, but especially loved bluebonnets, and every year she and her husband would drive out to see them in full bloom. They also traveled, and enjoyed spending this time together. She was an excellent homemaker, and a very intelligent and caring lady. Her family and friends will cherish her memory, and miss her dearly.She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Rufugia Palomo and husband Domingo.She is survived by her husband, Eliceo Garces niece, Rosa Cantu of Corpus Christi nephew, Fred Palomo of El Paso sisterinlaw, Juanita Ozuna of Kerrville brothersinlaw, Gilbert Garces of Eastland and Clifford Garces of Paradise, Texas, and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives.Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, August 30, 2006 at Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Daniel Garces officiating. Interment will follow at 2:15 p.m., at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. ation will be 68:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Kerrville Funeral Home.
