KERRVILLE Henry Garcia Vargas, 67, of Kerrville, TX passed away from this life on October 10, 2013 in San Antonio, TX.
He was born December 1, 1945 in Kerrville, TX, the son of Richard Vargas and Juanita Garcia Vargas.

Henry was a caring and loving husband, father and grandfather. Henry spent many years working for James Avery. When he wasnt working Henry enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren having cookouts and watching football. He loved motorcycles and going for joyrides. He even owned a couple throughout his lifetime. Henry was a devout Jehovahs Witness and participated in many church activities. His jokes, words of wisdom and overall personality will be missed by friends and family alike.

Henry is preceded in death by his father, Richard Vargas and mother, Juanita Vargas.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years Evangeline Rosas Vargas sisters, Estalla Rowan, Sylvia Vargas, Vanessa Bradshaw, Diana Wood sons, Favian Vargas, Henry Vargas Jr., Renee Vargas daughter, Denisha Vargas, along with a host of other friends and family.

A Memorial Service to honor the life of Henry Vargas will be held in Kingdom Hall of Jehovahs Witness, Kerrville, TX on Wednesday, October 16, 2013 at 6 PM. A reception will immediately follow at the Starkey Cafeteria.
