Henry Jackson Logan, 71, of Ingram and formerly of Denver City and Muleshoe passed away September 24, 2004 in Kerrville. Jack was born December 23, 1932 in Briscoe County near Turkey, TX to Bertha Jacobs and Henry Otto Logan. Jack attended Turkey High School and TCU before joining the Navy. He retired from Southwestern Public Service Co. now a part of Excel Energy in 1994 after 37 years of service. He loved traveling in his RV and making new friends. Over the years he served on numerous church and civic committees. He was a Baptist Deacon and currently a member of Trinity Baptist Church in Kerrville.He was preceded in death by his wife Genice, daughter Fredette, parents, brother Odell, and sister Bonnie.He is survived by his wife Rae of the home son, Jeff of Long Beach, CA daughter, Laura Dishman and husband Charley of Midland, two sisters, Ruth Brunson of Quitaque and Bettie Harrison of Muleshoe, two grandsons, Christopher and Jackson of Long Beach, CA and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be held in Kerrville 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2004 at the Kerrville Funeral Home Chapel. A second funeral service will be held in Muleshoe, TX 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the First Baptist Church in Muleshoe, TX. Graveside services will be held 4:00 Wednesday at the Dreamland Cemetery in Turkey, Texas.Donations may be made in Jacks memory to Trinity Baptist Church Building Fund in Kerrville, Texas or to The Opportunity Plan, Inc.
