Helen Landon

Kerrville, TX Helen F. Sills Landon, 98, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local health care facility on Friday afternoon, May 29, 2009.

Born in Sieling, OK on August 18, 1910, she was the youngest child of 12 born to Charles Barber and Mary Estelle Wright Sills.

For 48 years she was a salesperson for Shupacks Shoes, Garfields and then Lamberts.

Strong in her Christian faith, Mrs. Landon was a member of the Central Christian Church of Enid, OK.

She was a member of the Enid Busness and Professional Womens Club, the Order of the Eastern Star and the Shriners Ladies.

Mrs. Landon volunteered at Bass Memorial Hospital in Enid for many years.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Carolyn Sue Taylor of Kerrville, TX her son, Russell L. Heiserman of Clearwater, FL 3 grandchildren, Scott Heiserman and his wife, Kay Pam Taylor and Christa Heiserman and 2 great grandchildren, Andrew and Andrea Heiserman.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.

In lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations in her name may be made to the Central Christian Church of Enid.
