Helen Cox

Truth Or Consequences, NM Helen Louise Turnbow Cox, 88, a resident of New Mexico State Veterans Home, passed from this life on December 29, 2009.

Born in Thurber, TX on April 9, 1921, she was the daughter of Charlie and Nannie Stephens Turnbow of Patricia, TX, where Helen had lived until her enlistment in the Army Air Corp.

Helen served in the Army Air Corp during World War II and was honorably discharged in 1945.

She was predeceased by her parents.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, Michael Kirsh of Kerrville, TX daughters, Judith Townsend of Milledgeville, GA and Donna Burks of Truth Or Consequences, NM 6 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

There is no visitation.

Graveside service will be held at Lamesa Memorial Park, Lamesa, TX on January 12, 2010 at 2:00 PM
