Returning home badly wounded, he left active duty, but retired from the Army Reserves as a staff sergeant after completing 30 years of service in 1977.Harvey was a faithful member of Notre Dame Catholic Church in Kerrville. After 25 years of service working at the VA Medical Center here in Kerrville, during which time he completed his college degree, Harvey retired. Thereafter, he pursued what we all knew as his true vocation: hunting, fishing, and working outdoors. He was returned to his Heavenly Fathers care on December 3, 2005, dying at his home in Kerrville. He was preceded in death by his first wife, LaRue Burch Noah, and a daughter through marriage, Twila Ruth Burch.Harvey is survived by one brother Cecil Lewis Noah and four sisters Sue Wallace, Charlotte Nobles, Frances Burrier, and Jean Risinger. Also surviving him is his wife of 38 years, Edna Robinson Noah by a son, Harvey Allen Ray Rusty Noah by two children thru marriage, Kathy Welch Baldwin and Robin Welch and by two adopted children William Mackie and Maryanne Noah.He is further survived by 3 grandchildren, two grandchildren through marriage, and two grandchildren through his adopted daughter.
