Kerrville ndash Harold Earle Showalter, 72, passed from this life at a local hospital on Friday afternoon, June 13, 2008.nbspBorn in Oakham, MA, he was the son of Chester and Josephine Karp Showalter.nbsp He retired from the US Marine Corp after 20 years, being honorably discharged as a Master Sgt.nbsp Mr. Showalter was a fire inspector at Keyport Navel Station.nbspHe and his wife lived in Williams, AZ for 10 years where he was a City Councilman, a businessman and served on the Williams Volunteer Fire Department.nbspHe is predeceased by his parents and his brothers and sisters.nbspMr. Showalter is survived by his wife, Linda Heft Showalter of Kerrville his sons, Michael Showalter, and his wife, Nancy, of Seattle, WA and Eric Showalter of Santa Cruz, CA and 2 grandchildren, Dina and Gabe Showalter both of Seattle, WA.nbspThere is no visitation or services.nbsp nbsp
