Harold Mabry

Harold Lee Mabry, 80, of Kerrville, Texas entered into rest on November 30, 2006 at his residence. Mr. Mabry was born on October 1, 1926 in Bonham, Texas to Byron and Laudys Cox Mabry. He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during World War II, Korea, and Vietnam retiring after 24 years of service. He married Anne E. McBrine Mabry on May 2, 1953 in Haiti she preceded him in death. He married Freddie Jennings Mabry on September 14, 1999 in Kerrville, Texas. Harold was an excellent cook. He was loved by everybody and had many good friends and neighbors. He was kindhearted and generous. His friends and family will miss him dearly.He is survived by his wife, Freddie Mabry two stepsons, Bob Vickers and wife Carolyn of New Mexico, and Ronald Daughtrey and wife Darlene of Pleasanton, Texas grandchildren, Amy Vickers of Abilene, Emily Vickers of New Mexico, Lee Daughtrey of Pleasanton, and Nadine Daughtrey of Pleasanton brothers, Byron A. Mabry of Santa Fe, TX and Larry Mabry of Houston cousin, Betty Ruth Clark husband James and family all of Bonham and numerous other relatives, friends, and neighbors.ation will be 57:00 p.m., Monday, December 4, 2006 at Kerrville Funeral Home. Graveside services will be 2:30 p.m., Tuesday, December 5, 2006 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio with Rev. Sam Ligon officiating. Memorials may be made to the Shriners Childrens Hospital, the Deitert Senior Center, The Salvation Army, or to the charity of ones choice.
