Hallie Holden

KERRVILLE - Evelyn T. Holden., 88, of Kerrville, TX went home to be with our Lord on June 15, 2015 at a local facility in Kerrville, TX. Evelyn was born April 10, 1927 to James McCall Thomas and Frances Amy Tumlinson Thomas in Nockernut, Wilson County, Texas.

Evelyn worked the Adult Center for many years. She was a member of the Ladies Aux of V.F.W. Post 1480. In her spare time she loved bowling, fishing as well as spending time with her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Amy Thomas; brother, Clarence Thomas and sisters, Iva Lea Holcomb, Pauline Posik and Aline Stewart.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her husband, Bill Holden of Kerrville, TX; daughters, Jerry Sessions of Rockport, TX, Jo Goss of Kerrville, TX; step-son, B.B. Holden of Ingram, TX, Denny Holden of Ozona, TX; brothers, Raymond (Carol) Thomas of Center Point, TX, Robert (Joan) Thomas of Kerrville, TX; sister, Donna Thomas; grand children, Lester (Kym) Keef of Cibolo, TX, Jolynn (Kevin) Farrell of Kerrville, TX, Gwen ( Michael) Von Heuvel of Portland, TX, John Elam of Port Lavaca, TX, Clyde C Keef of Porter, TX, Darlene Speaks of Crosby, TX, Donna (Kim) Haines of Rockport, TX, Tina (Celso) Rodriguez of San Antonio, TX, Traci (Randy) Rankin of Mountain Home, TX, Amy (Sonny) Barrett of Pooler, GA, Heidi (Slate) Williams of Ozona, TX, Haley (Ben) Forehand of Ozona, TX, Kevin Williams of Kerrville, TX, Kyle Williams of Kerrville, TX, Clifton ( Summer) Williams of Montana, along with many great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.


A Memorial Service will be held at 1 PM on Saturday, June 20, 2015 in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial donations be made to Peterson Hospice or the charity of one's choice.
