Guadalupe Nikki B. Crim, 74, of Kerrville, Texas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 23, 2014. She was born on March 3, 1940 to Alberto Y. and Victoria Rodriguez Barragan.

Nikki was Born and raised in Comstock, Texas. She graduated from Comstock High School and attended Del Rio Nursing School. After completing nursing school, Nikki began her career as a nurse at the Val Verde Memorial Hospital and cared for patients there for 20 years. After that she worked in several other facilities such as, San Felipe Neighborhood Center, Brady Memorial Hospital, and while in Brady she also served as a nurse at the Eden Detention Center. Nikki moved to Kerrville in 1988 and began nursing at the South Texas Veterans Hospital in Kerrville. She retired from the VA Hospital some 12 to 13 years later. Nursing was her professional calling, and she served all of her patients with great care.

Outside of her professional life she had a love for painting, fishing, camping, and bird watching. She was also a proud and active member of the Republican Women of Kerr County. Nikki was a wonderful woman that will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her parents and brother, Natividad Barragan.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her son, William B. Crim sisters, Catalina Ohler and husband, William, Bellia Sanders and husband Dale, Lola B. Dehoyos, and Alicia B. Robertson brother, Gilberto Barragan and wife, Brenda, as well many nieces and nephews.

A time of visitation will be held from 10 AM to 11:30 AM on Friday March 28, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Del Rio.

Funeral Services will be held at First Baptist Church of Del Rio, 301 Avenue G, Del Rio, TX 78840 at 1:30 PM on Friday, March 28, 2014, with interment to follow at Comstock Cemetery in Comstock, TX.
