McVoy Moore, 91, of Kerrville, passed from this life on Saturday morning, February 9, 2008.Born in Tanglewood, TX on December 12, 1916, she was the daughter of Robert Bruce and Hattie L Davis McVoy. She had been a resident of Kerrville for the past 6 years, and had lived many years in Tanglewood and Lexington, TX area.Mrs. Moore worked as a supervisor of the school cafeteria in Lexington for many years.Family members include two sons, M. Carol Moore and his wife, Judy, of Kerrville, TX and their son and Douglas Moore and his wife, Sue, of Riesel, TX grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a special friend and garegiver, Linda Haslberger. She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters, Pansy Lynn, Violet Jackson, Maurine Brown and Flora Bess Ellis.Graveside services were held on Monday, February 11, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Lexington Cemetery, Lexington, TX.The family invites you to leave a message or memory at www.kerrvillefuneralhome.com by selecting Obituaries.
