Gloria Bailey

Maxine Risinger Bailey, age 92, of Lampasas, TX died June 14, 2017 at Sundance Inn Health Center in New Braunfels, TX. A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on June 17, 2017 at Bandera Cemetery.
Maxine was born May 12, 1925 in Bandera to Clyde Clinton ''Kink'' and Edna Agnes (Stevens) Risinger. She grew up in Bandera before marrying Raymond Bailey on May 31, 1942 in Pipe Creek, TX. Living in Lampasas since 1956, Maxine was a civil service employee at Ft. Hood, TX for 37 years. She was also a long-time member of the Baptist Church and Eastern Star, and she loved hand crafts.
Preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Raymond Bailey, and her sister, Cecile ''Lorene'' Risinger Tankersley Searcy, she is survived by her sister, June Ford; her son, Donald Ray Bailey and wife Barbara, her daughter, Betty Faye Caruthers and husband Ralph; grandchildren, Kyle Caruthers and wife Marita Beth, Kellye Beth Caruthers, and Sabrina Rabon and husband Dennis; great-grandchildren, Jackson and AnnDouglas Rabon; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Lampasas EMS, or to your favorite charity.
