Gerardo Ruiz

KERRVILLE Gerardo Ruiz, 21, passed from this life on Saturday, August 18, 2013, at a local hospital. Gerardo was born in Kerrville, Texas on August 5,1992 to Angel Ruiz and Florentina Ruiz Varela.

Gerardo was born and raised in Kerrville. He was the third child of eight and he was loved by every one of his siblings. Although he had bad times, he wasnt trying to let that get in his way as he was changing his life to become a better person.

Survivors include his parents, Angel and Flornetina Ruiz siblings, Alfredo, Jose, Maribel, Daniel, Rodrigo, Liliana, and Marisol Ruiz.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX on Wednesday, August 21, 2013 at 6:30 PM.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 9:30 AM, Thursday, August 22, 2013 at Notre Dame Catholic Church, Kerrville, TX with the Father Gustavo officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery, Kerrville, TX.

In lieu of floral tributes, memorial contributions can be made to the charity of ones choice.
