A memorial service is set for 2 p.m. Sunday, February 10, at Peace Lutheran Church in College Station. The family will receive friends and family at home in College Station.Born in Bay City, Texas,on August 12, 1945, Gary was baptized at St. Peter Lutheran Church. He attended City High School and Texas Lutheran College and graduated from Texas AM University class of 72. He married Charlene Smith Meyerdirk at St. Peter Lutheran.Gerald served in the U.S. Marine Corps and graduated from boot camp.
