George Cooksey

Kerrvile Lifelong minister Rev. George Harold Cooksey of Kerrville passed on to bewith our Lord Friday evening September 14th at the age of 81. PastorCooksey, a World War II veteran, was ordained at Life Bible College in 1950 and served faithfully as a Foursquare Gospel Minister for 37 years before retiring to Kerrville in 1987. An ever loving husband and gentle father, he is survived by his wife of 60 years Eleanor, daughter Sandra Middlebrook husband Jeffrey, daughter Susan Lanfair husband Jack, and son Jonathan wife Cynthia. He is also survived by his younger sister Doris Lightfoot and four grandchildren Elizabeth, David, Deborah, and Richard.Graveside services will be held Tuesday September 18th at 2:00pm at Mount Olivet Cemetery in Fort Worth by Pastor Dale Friedrich of the Foursquare Gospel Church of Kerrville.
