Gale Eugene Kloesel, 76, of Harper, Texas passed from this life on Tuesday, October 22, 2019..
Gale was born in Big Spring, Texas on January 30, 1943 to parents, Stephen J. and Elvira (Hengst) Kloesel. Gale served his country proudly in the United States Airforce from 1966 to 1970. He received his bachelor's degree from the University of Texas in Austin where he studied Russian as well as being a member of the swim team. He served as sergeant at arms for the Texas House of Representatives for many years before later becoming a property manager. Gale had many talents which included being a wood turner, lapidarist and metal smith. In his free time he enjoyed taking photographs and was a photographer to the Harper area stars.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Stephen J. and Elvira H. Kloesel and brother, Stephen ''Skipper'' J. Kloesel.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory include wife, Bonnie Kay Kloesel; daughters, Tanya Gayle Kloesel and Kerry Beth Kloesel; step daughters, Jo Beth Everheart and Krislyn Wattinger; grandchildren, Wesley Scott Hackett, Courtney Jo Franz, Cody Glenn Hackett, McCae Wattinger, Harleigh Jo Wattinger and Christopher Cade Wattinger; great grandchildren, William Everett Franz, Avery Katherine Hackett and Evan Charles Franz; along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins that will miss him dearly.
Funeral services will take place at 11 AM on Saturday October 26, 2019 at Wild Ride Ministries, 20842 US- 290 Harper, Texas with interment to follow at Harper City Cemetery.
