Gail Frances Podhaisky

 Gail Frances Winkley Podhaisky, 77, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on June 9, 2022 at home with her family by her side.

Gail was born September 24, 1944 to Brien and Genevieve (George) Winkley in Austin, TX. She married the love of her life, John Podhaisky, August 21, 1965, in Loveland, CO.   Gail graduated from Creighton University and utilized her accounting skills for various organizations as well as City Planner for Lake Bridgeport.  Throughout the years, she was very active in her community including volunteering at the Veterans Administration in Kerrville.

Gail is preceded in death by her husband, mother, father and brother.

Those left to honor her memory include her step mother Mary Winkley; sister Rita Winkley; children, Todd Douglas Podhaisky and wife, Jodi of Marietta, Ga; Tamara Lea Reed and husband, Charlie of El Reno, Oklahoma; and Scott Thomas Podhaisky and wife, Lisa of Magnolia, Texas; and grandchildren Hayley, Marissa, Breane, Brien, Kelly, Tyler, and Zachary and great granddaughter, Jocelyn.

Memorial services will be held at 10:00 AM, Monday, June 13, 2022 at Kerrville Funeral Home with Father Tom Murray officiating.  Inurnment will follow at Garden of Memories.
