Frederick James Blume, age 80, a resident of Pipe Creek, passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in Kerrville, Texas. Frederick was born on June 21, 1943 in San Antonio, Texas to loving parents, Charles Edward Blume and Iris Elsie Young Blume. He was one of three children. He grew up in San Antonio, Texas where he attended St. Mary Magdalen, graduated from Central Catholic High School, and attended Junior College. Frederick married, Sally Anne Williams Blume in 1962 and started their family. Family meant a lot to Frederick as he was very involved in raising his grandchildren and spending time with his sister and her children. Frederick later settled down in Pipe Creek, Texas where he built his three-story house by hand. He was a beloved brother, grandpa, uncle and friend to all who knew him. He will be greatly missed by many.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Iris Blume; wife, Sally Anne Blume; brother, Eric Blume; sons, Raymond, Dave, and Ken Sager; granddaughter, Jessica Sager; and brother-in-law, Dave Armor.
Frederick is survived by his special friend, Elinor Blake; sister, Joyce Armor; nephew, Mark Armor; Niece, Tracy Gracey (Jimmy); great nephews, Trevor and Austin (Katie); great great nephew, Mason; son, Patrick Blume (Cynthia); grandchildren, Ken, Travis, Steven, April, Alicia, Sally, Amber, Freda, Patrick, and Raymond; many many great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter.
