Frank Lenzo, 79, of Kerrville, TX, previously of Las Vegas, NV and Hammond, IN has been called to be with our Lord God in Heaven on April 23, 2014. Frank was born June 21st 1934 in Calumet City, IL to James Lenzo Sr. and Norma Dinelli.
Frank was first generation Italian American and the third of seven children. Frank obtained his High School Diploma May 1953 within 312 yrs of attending Hammond Technical School. He went on to win the State of Indiana Wrestling Championship title for 127lb weight class in 1952. A young lady named Joann also caught Franks eye while in high school.
Frank was drafted the fall of 1954, served in the US Army March 1955 to February 1957 with a tour in France. He later married his life companion Joann Lee Bozack of Hammond, IN June 22, 1957. Frank worked for 30 yr at Youngstown Sheet and Tube at 2 Tin Mill in East Chicago, IN. After retiring Frank Joann moved to Las Vegas, NV in 1982. He was a Past Grand Knight with the Knights of Columbus and served as an Usher at St. Viator Catholic Church for 25 years. Frank worked as head of Hotel Maintenance for the Sunset Station Casino up until 2011. On his free time Frank enjoyed fishing, camping and traveling.
Frank is preceded in death by his wife of 56 yrs Joann, grandson Joshua Trushaw and, brother Peter Lenzo.
Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his Daughter Robin Trushaw Las Vegas, NV Sons Randy Cheri from Lowell, IN and Mark Juanita of Kerrville, TX. Nine Grand children: Christopher Lenzo, Las Vegas, NV Anthony Lenzo Loveland, CO Theresa Dominick Petravito, Jennifer Artemio Del Real and Nicholas Lenzo Christina Lowell, IN Tracey Lenzo Brandon and Rhonda Lenzo San Antonio, TX Michael Trushaw Las Vegas, NV and Brianna Trushaw Kerrville, TX two great granddaughters, Rae Ann and Rilyn Petravito of Lowell, IN four brothers, one sister and numerous nephews and nieces.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held 6 PM Thursday May 1, 2014 at Kerrville Funeral Home, Kerrville, TX.
Memorial Mass will be held 10 AM, Friday, May 2, 2014 at Norte Dame Catholic Church, Kerrville, TX, with Monsignor Mike Boulette as Celebrant. Inurnment will follow at Garden of Memories Cemetery.
