Frances Ferguson

San Antonio Frances M. Ferguson, 91, of San Antonio, TX and formerly of Kerrville, TX passed away peacefully Saturday, March 6, 2004 at a San Antonio hospital. She was born in Belleville, KS to Frederick and Edith Staples Woodward on Halloween, October 31, 1912, something she always had fun with. She lived for many years in the Rio Grande Valley in Weslaco and Harlingen. For the past 21 years, she had lived in Kerrville where she moved to be near family. Mrs. Ferguson was a very active member of the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville, TX. In December of 2003, she moved into a Retirement Community in San Antonio, TX.Mrs. Ferguson was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Ferguson, and her parents.She is survived by three nieces and three nephews, along with a host of many loving friends, neighbors, and her precious church family.Funeral services will be held at 3 PM, Tuesday, March 9, 2004 at the First United Methodist Church of Kerrville, TX with the Rev. Warren Hornung officiating. Interment will be at 2 PM, Wednesday, March 10, 2004 at the Mont Meca Cemetery in San Benito, TX In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be made to the First United Methodist Church, 321 Thompson Drive, Kerrville, Texas 78028.Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
