Frances Dietzel

Frances K. Dietzel, 98, of Kerrville, Texas passed from this life on January 5, 2013 at her residence.

Frances was born September 16, 1914 in Brenham, Texas to Frank and Julia Bienecke Kalinowski. She married Victor C. Dietzel on January 16, 1932 in Victoria, Texas. During WWII, they lived in a town in Missouri where she and her husband opened a photography studio and tinted pictures. In 1955, they began operation of a aircraft parts manufacturing business which they owned until retirement although they had multiple businesses throughout the years. They lived in many places over the years and moved to Kerrville in 1995. In Kerrville, Frances attended Notre Dame Catholic Church where she was a choir member for a number of years. She enjoyed gardening and grew beautiful geraniums.

Frances is preceded in death by her parents husband three brothers, Robert, Frank Jr., and Joe and two sisters, Julie Anne and Estelle.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory include her son, Victor H. Dietzel and wife Susan of Kerrville sister, Katherine Bianchi of Victoria brother, Edward Kalinowski of Victoria niece, Barbara Ann Hand and husband Gene of Victoria and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be 6:00 PM, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 with visitation to follow at Kerrville Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 AM, Thursday, January 10, 2013 at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Victoria, Texas with Monsignor Celestino Say as celebrant. Interment will be in Resurrection Cemetery in Victoria, Texas.

The family would like to thank Ave Maria Hospice for their excellent service and care. Frances was especially grateful to her three caregivers who provided care and friendship throughout the years.
