Floyce Willis

Kerrville Floyce Fern Willis, 84, passed peacefully from this earth at home on March 8, 2012. She was born on July 27, 1927, in Cotton County, Oklahoma.

She married Charles Lloyd Willis in 1946 and moved to LaMarque, Texas, in 1954, where she raised her three children, Wayne, Leah and Chuck Willis. She moved to Austin, Texas in 1986, and to Kerrville with her daughter in 1999. She was respected and loved by all who knew her for her kindness, her humor, and her ability to love unconditionally.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Lloyd Willis, her son, Charles Loren quotChuckquot Willis, her parents, Henry Franklin Spurlock and Edrie Marue Ross, and 3 sisters.

She is survived by two of her three children, Wayne Willis, of Santa Fe Texas, and Leah Bellamy, of Kerrville, Texas and two brothers, Raymond Spurlock, of Temple Oklahoma, and Dwight Spurlock of Texas City, Texas. She was the proud grandmother of six grandchildren and eleven greatgrandchildren.

A celebration of her life will be held at St. Peters Episcopal Church on Tuesday, March 13, 2012, 1:00 p.m.

Memorials may be made to St. Peters Episcopal Church, or to the charity of ones choice.
