Florence Schatschneider

Kerrville Florence G. Schatschneider, 98, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local health care facility on March 7, 2011.

Born in Philadelphia, PA on October 17, 1912, she was the daughter of Emil and Elise Krieg Gremlich. She had lived in Philadelphia most of her life, moving to Kerrville in 2006 to be near her daughter.

Florence was a member of St. Pauls United Methodist Church.

She is predeceased by her parents, her husband, Reinhart, a son, Paul Schatschneider and a grandson, Karl Schatschneider.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her daughter, Linda BachelerElkins of Kerrville, TX her 6 grandchildren, Robert Bacheler IV and his children, Robert V, Emily and Serena Elise Sanford and her children, Kristen, David and Emma Craig Bacheler and his children, Brunson and Brooks Rebecca Schatschneider,and her son, Ryan: Gretchen Schatschneider and Peter Schatschneider.

There will be no visitation.

A celebration of her life will be held at Hilltop Village Chapel, 1400 Hilltop Circle, Kerrville on Thursday, March 10, 2011 at 3:30PM. Private committal services will be held in Philadelphia at a later date.

The family suggests that donations in her name be St. Pauls United Methodist Church or to VistaCare Hospice, both in Kerrville, TX.
