Florence Hendrix Murphy, 104, of Kerrville, Texas, formerly of Indianapolis, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2007 at a local care facility.Mrs. Murphy was born February 12, 1903 in Indianapolis, Indiana to John and Adelia Botoroff Roeder. She was a charter member of Southport Christian Church in Indianapolis, and also a member of the Nashville Christian Church in Nashville, Indiana, and a member of its Ladies Missionary Fellowship. She attended First United Methodist Church in Kerrville. She was a Past Drill Captain of the Rebecca Lodge and former member of the Eastern Star. She was hard working, loved pretty things and dressing up, enjoyed works of art, and was very energetic yet elegant. Florence was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend she will be dearly missed and forever loved. She is preceded in death by her husband, Mark Hendrix and a grandson, David Hart. She is survived by her daughter, Virginia Hart and husband Russell of Kerrville granddaughter, Jacqui Magenheimer greatgrandchildren, Beth McDaniel, Erica Shoop, Dale Magenheimer, Kelly Hart, Jill Hart, Kristie Honeycutt, Julie Attaway, Joseph Hart, Matthew Hart, Nancy Heitschmidt, and Andrew Hart numerous greatgreat grandchildren and nieces, Susan Burke, Stephanie Addington, Scheryl Hutchens, and Mary Jane Stouffer.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, February 27, 2007 at the Riverview Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home with Rev. Warren Hornung officiating. Interment will follow at Glen Rest Cemetery. No visitation is scheduled.
