Evelyne Barber

Evelyne Barber of Hattiesburg, MS passed away Thursday, December 12, 2002 at Windom House Assisted Living Center in Hattiesburg. She was born September 20, 1906 in Mobile, Alabama to Robert Davis McGuire and Minnie Greer Sawyer McGuire. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Herbert Oliver Barber.Mrs. Barber lived for a time with her husband in Kerrville, Texas.She is survived by a daughter, Phyllis Downey of Hattiesburg, MS 2 grandsons Vance and Joel Downey both of Hattiesburg 2 granddaughters Jennifer Downey of Hattiesburg and Lyndell Downey Sears of Bellevue, Illinois, as well as 2 greatgrandchildren.
