Evelyn Ewing

Mrs. Evelyn Patricia Ewing (nee Vivieres) died peacefully in the hospital on December 3, 2018 in Tomball, TX at the age of 94.

Evelyn is survived by her son, Thomas and his wife Rebecca, of Tomball, TX; her daughter- in-laws Deannine widow, of her son Don Gary, of Benton, AR; Sylvia Ewing, widow of Irwin Cooke of El Paso, TX; her grandchildren, Chris and wife Nona Ewing; John and wife, Tammy Ewing; Scott Ewing and his wife, Ashley; Eric and wife, April Ewing; Jake and his wife, Callie Ewing; Jeremy and wife, Kristen Ewing; Kate and husband, Chris Scaife; Denise Ewing; Dawn and husband, Drew Simmons; Larissa and husband, Chris Glover; Kristen Pinones and her husband, Joseph; her great grandchildren, Megan Ewing; Chelsea Ewing; Brittany Ewing; Jennifer Ewing; Clark Ewing; Rebecca Ewing; Mary Ewing; Donovan Ewing; Javier Ewing; Michael Scaife; Leila Pinones; Anna Grace Simmons; Audrina Pinones; Daxton Ewing and Kara Ewing. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and their children and grandchildren.

Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Irwin ''Tex'' Ewing and her sons, Irwin Cooke and Don Gary.

Evelyn was born on July 30, 1924 in Attleborough, MA. She met her husband of sixty-six years, Irwin ''Tex'' Ewing while he was in the Navy, stationed in Massachusetts. They were married following his discharge from the military on June 6, 1946 in New Haven, Connecticut. Shortly thereafter, they moved to Texas and remained there together, the rest of their lives.

A Funeral Service is scheduled for 1:00 PM, Saturday, December 8, 2018 in the main chapel at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Highway, Kerrville TX. with a brief reception to follow. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Evelyn's life. Evelyn was a longtime supporter of St. Jude's Children's Hospital and would have appreciated any donations made to this charity in lieu of flowers.
