Evangeline Vargas

Evangeline Rosas Vargas, 64 of Kerrville, passed from this life Monday, February 9, 2015 at a local hospital.

Mrs. Vargas was born July 7, 1950 in Comfort, TX the daughter of Faustino and Francesca Rosas. She married Henry G. Vargas on December 6, 1969 in Kerrville, TX and was a homemaker.

Evangeline was a devote Jehovah's Witness. Her love and dedication to her faith moved her to speak with anyone who would lend an ear. She touched the lives of many people throughout her own. She had a very big heart and helped anyone who needed help as she could. If one of her family members cared for someone, she cared for them as well. She loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. They were her absolute heart. She had a love for life, even though she had the ailments that she did. She will be sorely missed by her family, friends and acquaintances alike.

Mrs. Vargas is preceded in death by her husband, Henry and both parents.

Those left to honor and cherish her memory are three sons: Favian Vargas and wife, Crystal of Kerrville, Henry Vargas, Jr. and wife, Amy of Austin, Rene' Vargas of Kerrville, one daughter: Denisha Vargas and Andrew Franklin III of Kerrville, three brothers: Frank and Rudolph Rosas, both of Kerrville and Gilbert Rosas of Eldorado, 18 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Celebration of life services will be held 6p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2015 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness 217- Goat Creek Road Kerrville.
