Kerrville Eva Mae Oakes, 77, passed from this life at a local health care facility on Thursday morning, January 10, 2008.Born in Holly, MI on July 5, 1930, she was the daughter of David and Elizabeth Dellamater Parry. She had lived in Kerrville for the past year and a half, coming here from AZ. Prior to that, she had lived in the Holly, MI area.She was a school bus driver in Holly, MI and retired as head of the bus garage of the Holly, MI School District.Family members include a daughter, Reisa Pentz of Kerrville two sons, Phillip Oakes of Gaylord, MI and Paul Oakes of Holly, MI. She was predeceased by her husband, Ronald Oakes in 1996 and her parents.There is no visitation.Services will be held in the family lot in Holly, MI in the spring.In lieu of floral arrangements, the family suggest that memorial contributions be made to the Salvation Army of Kerrville.The family invites you to leave a message or memory at www.kerrvillefuneralhome.com by selecting Obituaries.
