Ethel Dickson

Kerrville Ethel Hill Dickson, of Kerrville went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday June 6, 2008 at the age of 93. Ethel was born in Bellville, TX on January 15, 1915. She lived in Rosenberg and then Simonton until 1985. Ethels life was devoted to the ones she loved and her caring nature touched many. She was known as an artist, musician, gardener, great cook, good neighbor and avid game player to her family and all who knew her well. She was innovative, thrifty, strong enduring, kind and generous and she was one of The Greatest Generation. Ready to take on new frontiers, she married John Dickson of Wallis, TX and moved to Kerrville in 1985. Her life was busy and happy.She is survived by her sister, Delores Hornberger of Houston daughter, Jean Foote Hedrick of Kerrville son Clyde Edward Hill and wife Betty of East Bernard grandchildren, Karen Hedrick of Rock Hill, SC, John Hedrick of Youngsville, NC, David Hill of Wharton, TX, and Susan Hill of Austin, TX. She also had two greatgrandsons, Colton and Graham Hedrick of Youngsville, NC, along with a host of loving friends and neighbors.A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2008 at 10 AM in the Main Chapel of Kerrville Funeral Home With Rev. Kathryn Morton officiating. ation will be held on Tuesday, June 10, 2008, 5 6 PM. Interment will follow on Thursday, June 12, 2008 at 1 PM at DavisGreenlawn Cemetery in Rosenberg, TX.
