Emogene Rowland

Kerrville Emogene Lawhorn Rowland, 83, of Kerrville, Texas and formerly of Whiteface, Texas passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2006 at a local hospital. She was born February 10, 1923 in Bridgeport, Alabama to Ira Ingrahm and Mariah Elizabeth Dawson Lawhorn.Mrs. Rowland was a member of the First Baptist Church in Bridgeport, AL and she attended First Baptist Church in Whiteface, TX until her health declined and her ultimate move to Kerrville, TX.Emogene was preceded in death by her parents Ira Ingrahm and Mariah Elizabeth Dawson Lawhorn, and husband, Frank R. Rowland.She is survived by her daughter, Pat Green and husband, Rev. John Green of Kerrville, TX a son, Aubrey James Gibson, Sr. of Whiteface, TX granddaughters and grandsons, Chaplain Michael A. Green USN and wife Sally of El Paso, TX, Ronald A. Green of Denver, CO, David M. Green of Kerrville, TX, Sheryl Elizabeth Romero and husband Larry of Sugar Land, TX, Patricia Janine Wallace and husband Paul of Houston, TX, Heather Jonnette Romero and husband Paul of El Paso, TX, Ronald W. Gibson and Gary R. Gibson both of Ft. Worth, TX, April Dawn Williamson and husband Chad of Palestine, TX, Aubrey James Jay Gibson, Jr. of Kingsland, TX, Jenny Rebeccah Henry and husband Pat of Morton, TX, Amanda Kay Gibson of Levelland, TX twenty greatgrandchildren and a host of many loving friends and neighbors.Open visitation will held at the church from 9 11 AM, prior to services. Funeral Services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at First Baptist Church, Whiteface, TX. Interment will follow at the Levelland City Cemetery. Arrangements are under the direction and personal care of Kerrville Funeral Home.
