San Antonio Emmett Nollie quotFiddlequot Beale, Jr, 64, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local hospital on Saturday afternoon, September 5, 2009.

Born in Hampton, VA on January 21, 1945, he was the son of Emmett N Beale, Sr and Emily Parker Beale. He had been a resident of Kerrville since 2003, coming here in from Hampton, VA.

Mr. Beale served on the USS Ranger and the USS Midway in the US Navy.

He worked as a Civil Servant for the US Government, as a Transportation and Safety inspector for the military bases around the Hampton, VA area. He was also a fire fighter for the City of Hampton, VA.

He was predeceased by his parents and his sister.

Those left to honor and cherish his memory are his wife, Barbara Hoffpauer Beale of Kerrville his daughter, Catherine Shockley and her husband, Mark, of Hampton, VA 3 grandchildren, Mark Shockley Jr and his wife, Kristen, of Springfield, MO, Kristy Clark and her husband, Clifton, of Smithfield, VA and Jessica Lopez and her husband Jimmy of Surry, VA 5 great grandchildren his former wife and friend, Joan Mancil of Hampton, VA and many other family and friends in VA.

ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Tuesday evening, September 9, 2009 from 57PM.

Funeral services for Mr. Beale will be held in Hampton, VA on Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at 6:00PM at the Phoebus United Mehtodist Church, 300 East Mellen St, Hampton, VA.

The family asks that in lieu of floral arrangements, monetary donations be made to the charity of ones choice.
