Kerrville Ellen S. quotQueeniequot Neutze, 77, of Kerrville, passed from this life at a local health care center on April 21, 2011. She was a 14 year breast cancer survivor.
Born in the Panama Canal Zone on February 23, 1934, she was the daughter of Harrington and Lillian Benjamin Little. At the age of 3, she and her family boarded the US Grant and on August 30, 1937, entered the USA.
Queenie was an avid Spurs fan and loved to watch her Dallas Cowboys.
She was an LPN working at various hospitals and health care facilities, a task that she loved to do.
Queenie cherished every moment that she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She enjoyed the days that she spent talking on the quotCBquot to anyone that would talk, often making new friends. She loved to help the long distance truckers find their destinations and spent many holidays taking hot meals to them at the local parking areas so they could have a holiday meal.
Queenie is predeceased by her parents and 2 brothers, Harrington Little, Jr and Vernon Little.
Those left to honor and cherish her memory are her children, Donna Rasmus of Snyder, TX, Linda Linker of Ingram, TX, Robert Neutze, Jr of Fredericksburg, TX, Johnny Neutze of Kerrville, Mike Neutze of Kerrville, Tammy Neutze of El Paso, TX and Shannon Neutze of Kerrville 19 grandchildren 29 great grandchildren her brothers and sisters, Johnny Wayne Little, Victor Little, David Little, Dorothy Stewart and EG Norton and many nieces and nephews.
ation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 from 68PM.
A celebration of her life will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home Main Chapel on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at 10:00AM with Pastor Del Way, officiating. Committal service will follow at Garden of Memories.
The family suggests that donations in her name be made to the American Cancer Society.
