Kerrville ndash Elizabeth Jean Primm Ray passed from her physical body on July 26, 2008 at Hilltop Village Nursing Home, which she considered her home for the past few years.nbspMrs. Ray grew up in Weogufka, Coosa County, Alabama.nbsp She and her husband, Frank, and son Edward, settled in Alexander City, Alabama, where Mrs. Ray was a registered nurse and nursing instructor.nbsp Later, the family moved to Amherst, Texas where she continued her work as an RN.nbspThey then moved to Kerrville, where she continued her nursing career in the State Hospital and the VA Hospital.nbspShe was known as Mother Teresa to the Guadalupe Heights Community and to the town of Kerrville, loving everyone and helping all who needed her.nbspMrs. Ray was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Ingram, she loved her church and was a church elder.nbsp She occasionally attended St. Paulrsquos United Methodist Church with her son and daughterinlaw.nbspShe was an artist, producing a number of beautiful paintings specializing in windmills, flowers and Texas landscapes.nbspMrs. Ray is survived by her son and daughterinlaw, Edward and Carma Ray one sister, Laura Benson, and one brother, Earl Primm.nbsp She is also survived by five grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.nbspnbspation will be held at Kerrville Funeral Home on Wednesday evening, July 30, 2008 from 5:007:00 PMnbspA memorial service and graveside will be held in Weogfka, Alabama sometime in the next few months.nbspFloral arrangements are accepted or monetary donations may be made to Hospice of Kerrville, a cause Mrs. Ray, as a nurse, would appreciate.nbsp
